Does anyone know what percent of majors apply to medical schools? I heard from somewhere that 50% of all accepted students had music majors. I'm not looking to get in med school by majoring soemthing in somethind odd. Whatz your take on this?

I doubt that's true. But certainly a greater percentage of non-science majors have matriculated each year for over about a decade.

if you check out the MSAR.....

at the majority of medical schools, about 50-60% of the matriculants are science majors. the other 40-50% are non-science majors (music, art, business, etc).

in college, major in something you LIKE to do and can EXCEL in. and make sure to do the prereqs.
