DL uploaded 10/31 at 5pm, and as of today, about 60% of programs I applied to have downloaded it.
Read mine a couple weeks ago, and I must say at least at my school, the summary paragraph is nothing like a wordy version of my CV, although everything I think are important about my background and performance is included in there in some form or another. At my school it's basically a paragraph where the dean says whatever she wanted. At least for me, dunno if for others, she threw in a lot of subjective good, touchy-feely, schmoozing stuff in the last paragraph, with which I am rather pleased. The whole letter, except the big section in the middle where the clerkship and first 3 elective comments and grades were quoted verbatim, sounded much more like a recommendation letter than an "objective evaluation of medical school performance" like she emphasized to us. Typos and errors are very minimal.
Overall, very excited about finally having it available for my file (and knowing exactly what it says), and hopefully, the PD's will be too.
