kansas airfares?

any one know of really, really cheap airfares from san diego to kansas city, mo? i have an interview at the univ. of kansas and the airfares are so ridiculous......please help!

their ridiculous everywhere, i can't beleive how many thousands of dollars I'll be charging to my credit card just to interview for waitlist spots.

tell me about it! it's so ridiculous.....i had checked on airfares two weeks ago and they are about the same now......i thought it would be a better price like some people told me and now i am probably going to pick and choose between schools
