They just guarantee a higher score than what you started with (your score from a previous MCAT or your score on their diagnostic). I think they say that students avg a 10 point increase in scores though...

Only you can guarantee and tell what score you'll get on the MCAT. That said, we do guarantee that with a minimum of work, you can improve your score by 1 point. The guarantee is really in place to allow you to postpone your test and continue to prep if you're not ready at no charge to you, and to refund you your tuition if you don't improve your score.

well if you don't study, nobody can guarantee anything
you have to put a lot of work into studying for this test. what score to expect depends on how much effort you put into it

I think they guarantee you do better than the diagnostic. Good luck [IMG]

This sounds like a case of "hear what you want." I know that at my center we get folks that call or come in angrily demanding that we honor our "money back guarantee" because they were not completely satisfied with the course.

The Kaplan course is a great way to start. I tried to follow their timeline as much as I could and as I progressed I took lots and lots of practice tests and section tests. Its not easy to do and it will consume your life, but you should come out with a score that you are proud of.

Also dont worry about the diagnostic score, I think I got a 20 and I just got a 30 on my MCAT. Good Luck

It's good to start with Kaplan. but make sure you do well on real AAMCs.
