To those of you who have used both Kaplan and EK to prepare for the test, more specifically verbal reasoning...which was a better indicator of your actual score??

My kaplan score was right on the money. The questions kaplan used were just as pointless, boring, and difficult to comprehend as the real passages!!

Examkrackers 101Passages in Verbal Reasoning was the best for me. I think a lot of people would say this as well. I started at an 7 on the Verbal (diagnostic, take it for what it is worth) and ended up with an 11 on the real MCAT. My recommendation is to allot an equal amount of time per passage and then if there is time to come back to a passage do so. Good luck either way!

IMO, Kaplan VR is significantly easier than the real thing. EK is pretty good for VR.

Moving to the MCAT forum.

Well i've been doing better on EK than on Kaplan haha thats why i'm asking...I also just abandoned the passage mapping..and got my highest score....so i'll likely continue doing that
