Woops, sorry guys. My previous post was supposed to be a private message to NAVY.
I guess since I'm here I'll offer my two cents since I have recently completed all of my COMLEX testing and was in your shoes not too long ago. I used both Kaplan and USMLEworld to prepare for my Level 2 exam two years ago. Of the two I would have to say that I found USMLEworld to be the better of the two for a couple reasons. Although I felt as though USMLEworld and Kaplan both prepared me for my USMLE step II much better than for COMLEX, USMLEworld was much broader and offered better explanations in my opinion. I also liked it's testing format a little better. Overall, I would have to say that USMLEworld seems to have a higher quality. Don't expect to see the long scenarios, second-level questions, or answer sets with choices A - S seen on USMLEworld on your COMLEX exam, it just isn't going happen. In my opinion, the most important feature that an online testing bank offers is the actual experience of taking a computer-based test in a timed format. Having said that, its a good feeling when you can see your scores getting progressively higher over the course of your studies. As far as texts, I'm a big fan of the Blueprints' series, especially for OB/GYN, PEDS and ER. Expect to see a lot of cases on COMLEX 2 based on ER scenarios. If you find this stuff helpfull, take a look at "exam advice" section on our website. I think it provides some great insight on the COMLEX level 2 experience, but then again, I'm the one who wrote it. Please feel free to contact me with any specific questions you might have on this test. If I don't have answers for you, I'm sure one of my friends/colleagues does.
Once again, my appologies for the mis-post
