hey guys

i have searched thru the forums but have found no real answer to this question - how are the kaplan review books for step 2 ck? The only thing i found was a comment saying they are lengthy. If anyone has used them, can you comment on them?

thanks

I'd liike to hear about this also, been using some of them for shelf exams (DO school) and found them extremely helpful, esp Peds, OB/GYN, surgery.

is it worth it to read this information over again or stick with the more concise review sources?

I used the Kaplan books. I was able to finish them in 2 weeks, including the qbank, USMLE 2 secrets, and First Aid 2. I did very well on both the COMLEX2 and USMLE 2 (well into the 90th percentile on both). I thought they were excellent books. I did not like the qbank. Not a single question was even remotely similar to the USMLE or COMLEX topics covered. Everyone recommends usmleworld for that.
