I don't think they bother to adjust the scale for different tests, and the scores in the sciences seem to be somewhat inflated.
According to this scale on Kaplan FL-2, I scored a 36 (14 from PS with +67, 9 from VR with +49, 13 from BS with +64). Either that or Kaplan FL-2 is extremely easy. This exam's PS is the only PS that I manage to finish on time with high accuracy. On all the others, I'm forced to guess 30%-40% of the questions because there are too many tough passages to decipher within that time frame. Anyone else with similar experiences?

I was told by my kaplan teacher that each practice test has a different estimated scale.

I will be sending out the conversion charts for 1-11 tomorrow to a couple people, so PM me if you would like a copy.

Man, every guide is so different. Here is EK the verbal 101 scale:

<16 1
16-19 2
20-23 3
24-26 4
27-29 5
30-33 6
34-36 7
37-40 8
41-44 9
45-48 10
49-52 11
53-55 12
56-57 13
58-59 14
60 15

I was so happy because i just got 45 for the first time (a 10), but in kaplans scale a 45 is an 8. Maybe they are scaled differently and cannot really be compared by raw score, i dont know?
