please tell me that you are able to make questions again from the same qbank of questions after you finish the 1252 number of questions once... can you do the questions again once you are done with the entire qbank?
thanks in advance!

From the Step 2 CK page on the Kaplan website:
"You can also continue to make new tests even if you have seen all of the Qbank?s questions. Just select "all items" when you create a new test, or, alternatively, select "incorrect only" to see only those questions you got wrong. All of your incomplete and suspended tests must be completed for the questions in those tests to be released into the general pool for reuse."

Maybe there's something wrong? I always thought you could make new tests with used questions...and, from what it says on their website, it sounds like that was their intent too. Have you tried their customer service?

Sorry I don't know any more information than this...I was just about to start the Step 2 Qbank myself.

I have been using Q-bank for Step II and it has allowed me to make test from those questions I have not seen as well as from all the questions in the Q-ban. I do not know why it is not allowing you to reuse questions after you see them the first time. Make sure you have the setting to "all questions" when you are making a new test. Otherwise, contact Kaplan to see what the problem is because it is not normal.

sorry, my mistake, I was misinformed... I talked to some girl there (at Kaplan), and she told me that once you finish up all of the 1252 questions, then all you are able to do are the incorrect ones, or tutorial, and then after that -- then thats it... after that you cannot generate a new test.... only look at youre old exams under analysis.. but then I called Kaplan again and spoke with someone different... he told me that once you are finished with every question (1252), and tutorial, and review incorrect items, you are indeed able to create questions from youre used pool... regeneration of old questions in youre qbank.. I was thinking that I was screwed for obtaining the 3 month deal with Kaplan Qbank... I was under the impression that once I finish up all of the questions, then I am stuck, I mean I can never set up another test.. .and that was my biggest fear... although this is not true, there still is a considerable overlap in exam to exam questions after you are through with the questions once.. which I understand... although at least you can still generate a test.. dunno... I will just have to take it slow in this case then..
thanks for the advice! I guess you always have to take at least a second opinion if something doesnt seem right.. because as I recall USMLE Step I Kaplan Qbank worked the same.... there never existed a time when I was finished with all of the questions , and then my only option which existed was to review old exam sets.. whew!!! 🙄

How do people think that Q bank compares to Step II questions? Easier or the same? Thanks.

I would like to know as well...I have about 2 weeks to go and I am consistently getting between 75-85% of the questions correct (covering only those subjects that I have studied - I only have IM : Pulmonology and Nephrology to go). I would also like to hear how people think Q-bank scores correlate with Step II scores. I have searched and only found the correlation for those taking Step I. Anyone have any ideas?
