For those who took the test already, is it a waste of time to practice with Kaplan/TPR verbal?? Should we be focusing only on EK and AAMC verbal stuff???

To do or not to do...that is the question... :p

I haven't taken the test already, but one thing I like about Kaplan's verbal solutions is how they have the main idea summarized for each passage. I use those to make sure my main idea aligns.

I have always been pretty good on Verbal, and while I basically ignored everything to do with the essay (which they drag you through as nauseum), the verbal practice definitely helped...I went from a 10 on my diagnostic to a 13, so yeah, I suggest doing a substantial bit of the verbal work.

It can be good practice for reading through and understanding the passages, but at least with Kaplan (didn't do anything TPR), I felt that the questions felt off for what I was used to with AAMC. EK was pretty much right on.
