Hi everybody,

I was just wondering if anyone knows which is a better prep course, kaplan or berkeley review? Specifically, the kaplan prep and berkeley review prep courses that go on in Irvine. But also in general, the goods and bads about these prep courses, and which one is better? Thanks.

Go with Berkely Review..from all the posts I have read on here, they seem to be well above Kaplan. Do a search and you will find relevant threads.

I will be starting my Princeton Review on Feb. 08th. Heard their diagnostic tests are as difficult as the *real* Mcat. You better hurry up and sign with someone, if you really need the structured review format. I am sure most of the classes have already started in most places.

I am currently using ExamKracker books until my PR class starts. After that it will be stricktly PR! But, in the end I am sure Kaplan, PR and Berk are all about the same. Important thing is to do as many AAMC Practice MCATs as possible. Especially test iv, v, and vi.

Good luck!

I dunno about in Irvine but in the Bay Area people definitely say Berkeley Review is the best over the others. I've heard mixed things about Kaplan overall. Good luck!
