Kaplan's Q bank?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Hi anars,

All the questions in the MCAT QBank are pristine practice that we suggest to our most agressive students that have actually gone through and finished all of the practice material in the training library. Another great use is to practice particular passage types (molecular genetics for example) by selecting what types of passages you want to see. The total amount of content is a little over 5 full-lengths worth of passages and discrete questions.

Hi,
I don't think QBank is even worth the promotional $30 I paid for it last fall. A big portion of the 1000-or-so questions they advertise is actually AAMC practice tests I, II, III, IV, V, and I believe VI. You may want to check the availability of accompanying solutions because I only remember seeing AAMC II solutions. Also, there may be difficulty displaying fonts, symbols, and figures accompanying the biology, chemistry and organic chemistry passages and questions. Kaplan's prompt customer service and dedication to improvement nonetheless surely extends to QBank. My humble advice is to spend your money on paper-based as opposed to computer-based practice materials.

it wasn't as helpful as I was hoping it would be...I mean it was just additional practice that helped, but I don't think it's worth as much as it costs 😡

For Step 1? I'd definitely use it...I bought the QReview package, which is 3 months of QBank (awesome!) and 3 months of Integrated Vignettes (not very helpful).

What don't you guys like about it?
