If someone could give an insight into ranking these schools and the pros and cons that would be great!
KCUMB
Pros- Great COMLEX scores
-Very well established
-Difficult, but seemingly proven curriculum based on board scores
-I liked the city and bbq
Con- A second year student stopped me on campus and went on a rant on how much he disliked the school. He pretty much said if I had the choice then to not go there.
KYCOM
Pros- I loved the campus and block scheduling
-I really enjoy the rural setting and it’s 4 hours away from close family connections
-There is Pikeville Medical Center there for students to shadow at and have rotations
-Not as expensive as KCUMB
Cons- The COMLEX pass rates weren’t great until last year
LMUDCOM
Pros- Again like the rural campus
-Board scores seemed to be very good and their matches were very good
Cons- A little concerned about clinical rotations and the new Knoxville campus
- More expensive than KYCOM for less
LECOM B
Pros- Really cheap
-10 minutes away from my parents house(where I currently live)
Cons- Really cheap(Seemed to cut corners on interviews)
- Clinical rotations
-10 minutes away from my parents house
