I got interview scheduled at Rosalind on Feb 8th.
I know I'm late in the game so I want to be as prepared as possible. For those of you who have been at Roslaind for interview, could you share with me how the atmosphere is like there and how you prepared for it.

Thankyou

Be yourself! Show commitment and enthusiasm. You'd be surprised how much of a difference that can make. Believe me, I have pretty mediocre credentials, but I got accepted almost right after the interview - and to a great school I thought I'd have no chance of winning an interview at. Many applicants with great GPAs and MCATs get rejected every year - almost arbitrarily, it seems - so I know it can be discouraging. However, once you're at the interview stage, the playing field is very much leveled. Medical schools will not waste their time interviewing you if they think you will not be competitive for their program. Most applicants have high GPAs and MCATS and it's tough for the ADCOM to differentiate them (their job is hard too!); the rest of the application is 'padding' (my own thinking).....the key is to stand out at the interview by (tastefully!) getting their attention. I look forward to reading your post WHEN you are accepted at Rosalind Franklin. Good luck and God bless!

Hi, I posted on a thread about Rosalind Franklin a while back:

The interviews are pretty low-stress. There are two of them, and neither interviewer asked really hard questions. Just about my life, family, hobbies. Nothing really school-related at all. I even got into a conversation about basketball with one of the interviewers after he lamented the Bulls. You will be fine. Good luck!
