Not to sound like a dick, but just check out Wikipedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kidney) or your bio/physiology text book. Not really sure what else you're looking for bud..

personally, i thought renal was very nicely covered by wiki:

I also studied most of the other wiki article links scattered in that article (e.g. links for GFR, renal physiology, erythropoietin, etc...)
