Anybody know of any excellent books they would recommend about the differences between specialties; maybe a "specialty guide" or something like that? Just lookin for something to read while I'm taking a sh...oops, went too far. But seriously, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks!

Edit: I do know about the stuff on this website and on other places on the net, but I'm looking for a hardcopy format.

No problem. As a favor, would you mind posting whether it's a good book or not if you decide to acquire it?

I have The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Medical Specialty by Brian Freeman. I thought it was pretty helpful and I refer back to it occasionally when I think of a new specialty I want to know about. Each chapter is written by a person in that particular field though, so it is not so much a comparison of them all, as it is a collection of separate articles.

I agree with Sean, I found that to be a great resource too.
