large intestine vs. small intestine water absoprtion

Hello is it correct to say that large intestine does the most water reabsorption and small intestine does the most water absorption?

You are basically referring to the same thing, which is water absorption. Small intestine absorbs 7-9 L of water per day.
Large intestine absorbs about 300 ml per day in order to dehydrate the waste.
The mechanism and purpose of water absorption is different in 2 intestines.
The small intestine absorbs water from ingestion as well as secretory glands, while large intestine absorbs water to dehydrate waste for normal excretion.

I remember a question long time back that asked where does most water reabsorption took place and the answer was large intestine. Not sure if the question was worded this way or not.
