Alright ladies and gentleman, I got an interview at Larkin Community Hospital Palm Springs Campus and cannot find a single thing about the program. I cannot see call schedule, curricula, benefits, pay, etc. Essentially, I am going in blind without any information and need some help. If anyone has interviewed here can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE provide some information about the program? Also, if you feel inclined, please share some insights as to the types of questions asked during the interview. Please help a brotha out.

Stay far away from anything related to Larkin Community Hospital. I used to rotate at the Miami one.

I hate to be a bummer but here is my opinion on Larkin from both my interview there and knowing a couple current residents. Nothing wrong with any individual program but the hospital itself is predatory. They pay their residents an unholy amount that they cannot live from (PGY-1 makes 43K, aka 12k less than The next lowest program in the area) forcing them into Moonlighting positions within their sister hospitals to supplement their income. They have been known to fire residents who inquire about fair wages without due process. It is easily the worst place I have ever interviewed because of the hospital not the program itself. The program has an excellent dedicated PD and supportive staff but I still would not rank nor consider. If ACGME starts looking into this place, maybe the hospital will get in line and start treating residents fairly.
