  1. Pre-Medical
Hey, so I have already been accepted to medical school, and I have one premed requirement left (Chemistry Lab II/Organic Lab).

The issue is that I am taking several other courses in order to complete requirements for my major and slacked off quite a bit in the beginning of the semester. I ended up turning the first few labs in really late and lost a lot of points on them...

If have determined that if I maintain ~85% or above on the remainder of the assignments I will get a C in this course however if I do worse I could get a D. Is this a risk I should take? I feel like I should try to take over the summer at my state-school before starting medical school but that plan could get screwed by deadlines for completing requirements. This lab is not needed for gradation btw.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advanced!

Your in the class now, pass the class now. Over the summer you can party or something.

Also: I like that we are now calling medical school MSchool.

i agree with the previous comment: just pass the classes you are in now and get it over with. the chem lab is a prereq, so you do need a C or better, but since you are already accepted to MSchool (nice!), that's really all you need. if you are worried about your ability to do this, then slack off a little in your other classes as needed. littering your transcript with a few B's in your last semester with acceptances in hand is fine.
