That's nothing my application was completed in march cuz of my references... Gave them more than a month but they were still late, but anyways I'm applying for the six year program

Congrats, MonsterCookie and mcrickm! And best wishes, chika.

Nice! yeah I applied back before Nov 15th and since then Ive done a bit more research on the Ireland schools and would be interested in extending my application to a few of the other schools I didnt include in my application. I applied to RCSI, UCD, UCC and NUIG but would like to have a shot at Trinity and Limerick, you guys think if i called Finbar and asked him if this is possible hed shut down the idea or could there be possibility.......

I think you probably could--you'll see that one of us didn't submit a complete application until a month ago, after first-round offers were probably in the midst of being considered. It's worth asking Finbar, anyway, I'd say. You'd probably have to pay the late application fees for both schools, though.

Thanks for the laugh. "Training" surgeons? You mean showing them some new sales rep product that they'll never use? More like wasting their time.

No I mean training. You'd be surprised how cocky some residents and surgeons can be.

Has to be. ABP won't even let you apply with anything less than a 3.0 - unless you train 'arrogant' surgeons and surgical residents.

False. Even AMCAS and AACOMAS have no cutoff gpa. I don't understand why you are so bitter about someone else's application?

lmao this is just getting out of hand, but definitely good for a laugh

Update: Regret from TCD (dated March 16). Haven't heard back from anybody else.

Accepted to Limerick, and will be taking it. My application was complete Feb 21. I haven't heard back from any other schools. My theory is that applying late hurts you more for schools other than Limerick since they conduct interviews after the others have already sent out first round acceptances (April 12-14).

Can you maybe elaborate? Training is a very general term. Like, at a gym?
