Late September Interviews at Vandy: Responses?

I interviewed Sept. 30 and haven't heard anything. I was told it's about a month wait (4-6 weeks), so I think I'll wait at least a week before I start checking my mailbox and cell phone messages ten times a day 😛 Good luck!

I interviewed Sept 29th. I am going to wait the 6 weeks (~Nov 10th) before I start freaking out....unless someone else who interviewed in late september has heard anything...

omg, really? i've been frantically waiting for a call since they first started giving them. I'm Sept 29 too, so 4-6 weeks eh? is it just me or does this entire process glue us to our computers... i mean i've pretty much been waiting for crap to get processed since april after the mcat and then there were primary receipts, secondary offers, interview offers... man if it wasn't for gmail, i'm pretty sure my refresh button would break

haha, I bet we have half of the sep 29ers here. I'm not really expecting anything for another 2 weeks at least, I think they're probably pretty saturated.
I was also a little freaked to hear that people rate your app from 1-5 and only 1-1.5 get accepted initially. I'm not holding my breath.

One of the yellow leaflets in our interview folder said that letters get mailed out each monday after the committee meeting. If the committee met for us last week, which a previous poster said (I think in the other Vandy thread),today letters could be sent out for us.

Chill out guys/girls. I was Sep. 16 and have heard nothing. No biggie b/c you WILL hear something. That is better than other schools where you could get a call now or wait until March, depending on what they feel like doing.
That is very true! Also, I don't know if they always go completely strictly in order of interview date, because the adcom members assigned to review a particular application may not have it done by the week they "should" have. These people are practicing doctors with patients to see and emergencies to take care of. Not to say they'll be off by much, but it's just another thing to keep in mind.
