Why are you discussing your learning disorder in this essay? Are your experiences with this disability what has led you to choose medicine as a career? Are you giving an example of a hardship you have endured and overcome? Are you trying to explain a lower than average GPA?
Without knowing why you wish to talk about it, it is difficult to give advice. Your essays should emphasize your strengths and I would not mention your disability unless it is a very important and can be presented in a postitive way. It can be a fine line describing a disability. Unfortunately, some people view learning disabilites as an excuse for poor performance and question the validity of the diagnosis. Others may question your ability to excell in medical school with a disability that may hinder you academically. I think your best bet is to present the situation as a example of a hardship which you overcame and the life lessons you have learned in the process.
I had a chronic illness during my undergrad years (1986-1990) and needed to explain how the situation had effected my GPA. I emphasized the fact I had never dropped a class despite numerous surgeries and detailed how my experiences gave me a valuable perspective on how a seemingly benign, but persistant illness can have such a dramatic effect on the lives of a patient and their family. I wrote of the experience not as a failure in my life (my low GPA), but of the strength it took to overcome the situation and how I grew from this life experience.
Good luck!
