LECOM and Laptop requirement

Hi:

If there are LECOM students, do you find that you use your laptop alot in class to connect to lecture notes? If possible can you get by with a desktop and the right internet connection to hook into LECOMs computer system at home?

LECOM requires a minimum 300 mHz laptop. I already have a 233 mHz and I am wondering if that would be adequate since the 300 mHz is only about %30 slower.

Also does the orientation staff actually check to make sure that you do have aleast 300 mHz spec?

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Sorry, the 233 mHz should be about 30% slower than the 300 mHz
