Length of residency training in Germany

Hi Guys
Can any one please let me know how long it takes to be Gastroenterologist or Cardiologist in Germany?

Some says its six years some says its nine years and I am terribly confused. Advice from current residents might be useful.

Cardiology is 6 years. You start of with 3 years of internal medicine, then go on 3 years in cardio. You oughta spend 6 months minimum in an IM/cardio ICU. Hows your German?
