what % of mstp's finish both degrees in :

i'm especially curious how many mstps graduate in 6 yrs per year. maybe 1-2%? that'd be about 3-4 folks/yr... am i right?

PhD 4 yrs then decide MD
->MD 3 yrs?

Some schools will let you out of classes if you pass the final. So for a few people, an MD/PhD program is 1 year of continuous cramming, a few years of benchwork, and then 1-2 years in the clinic.

Also, you could work continuously through those first 2 years and conceivably get out of there in about six.

What's the hurry? ;)
