Curious mind here, I have a bunch of questions regarding clinic rotations in dental school... I don't know much (or anything really) so my apologies if these seem irrelevant.
Did you feel prepared your first time out?
Easy to schedule patients or is it cutthroat?
Is the environment stressful or are the procedures pretty clear cut by the time you're supposed to start them?
Can you take as much time as you need?
When you get a patient are you basically on your own or do you have an assistant/help/instructor by you if an issue comes up?
Sure, everything is rough the first time around as things take practice, but I'd be a little bummed out if this experience is like a "baptism by fire" type deal, especially if an ailing patient would have to act as my lab rat.
