So, all of my letters of rec are confidential. Except one. My problem is that UCSD gives only two options to check off: 1)that I certify that all my letters are confidential or 2)all my letters are not confidential.

I'm afraid that if I check off non-confidential, then they won't accept my letters. But since only of my letters is non-confidential, that doesn't seem fair. It was my first letter and I wasn't very sure of myself back then. It turned out to be an excellent letter, and I definitely want to use it. What do you guys think I should do? I definitely don't want to lie, but not all my letters are non-confidential and I don't want this to hurt me. What do you guys think?

I would call the admissions office and ask what they want you to do. The ladies in the office are all very nice and helpful and they will be able to give you the best advice since they know what the school wants...
