I know this has been gone over plenty before, but what's the generally accepted form:

1) E-Mail

2) Snail Mail

3) Either of the above in conjunction with a phone call from an advisor in the field.

4) Is one call enough? Is two better?

I'm getting freaked out again. I just want it to work out, and I don't want some program to think I'm not interested, or not interested enough. All these mind games - I wish there was some transparency!

Thanks,
S

You gotta go with snail mail. A phone call to your top 2 places wouldn't hurt either, but it should be done, like now.

Why snail mail? I had been told email had a better chance of being seen...I am sure a phone call helps.

I would go with the email as well. That way, you know they will receive it right away and often they write back. You can kinda gauge their excitement from the reply.
