I am thinking of writing a letter of interest to Wayne State. I was wondering if anyone could give me any advice on how it should be written, or better yet, send me an example of one that they have written. What do you say in this letter? Do you tell them that the school is your first choice and you will definitely go there if accepted? Seems like it would be pretty short, is that ok? Any help would be appreciated.
Here is some background on my app to wayne state. Interviewed there on Sept 12 and was placed in their "alternate category". I have a 4.0 GPA and 33 MCAT (higher than their numbers) and I have also done research in a graduate lab at Wayne State, and I have a letter of recommendation from a FP doc who is alumni from there. I am an MI resident, with solid ECs, clinical exp, and volunteer work. REally want to go to Wayne...don't know why I am in their alternate category...
