Hi everyone, I was wondering what is the best LoR Service that will complete the following tasks effectively (in order of priority):

1. Sending to AMCAS LoR (a must)
2. Sending to other medical schools that are not a part of AMCAS LoR
3. SMP/Post-Bac Programs
4. MPH (Master of Public Health)
5. (Maybe) Volunteer organizations such as AmeriCorps
6. Possible jobs?

I will be graduating from UCLA this quarter, and the UCLA Career Center will no longer holds my LoRs (unless I pay 30 for Alumni membership and 75 for 1 yr. activation...)

I don't want to bug my professors for a new letter every time since I will be applying to as many programs/schools as I need.

I need something that is centralized and universal. I have heard of Intefolio but how reliable and effective is it compared to my undergraduate career center? Is it specialized for pre-med?

By the way, UCLA does not have a pre-med committee.

Thanks.

I'd just drop the Benjamin to keep access to your school's letter service.

Yeah I need this too. I felt so bad for bugging my professors sending 20 places for my summer research and postbacc applications.

Interfolio. It's not just for medical schools. You can use it for any educational/job opportunity. I've used it to apply to MD/DO schools and a summer research internship. Costs about $19/year if I remember correctly. Discounts for a 3-year or 5-year plan.

Great. Did you try using Interfolio with the new AMCAS LoR Service (which started this cycle)?

Yep. Works great. There's even an option on there to include your AMCAS ID, and they have the AMCAS address and such already listed on there so you just click and send.

Thanks. Any particular reason why?

It's effortless, you already know what you're getting with your school's service, you don't have to worry about your letters (you already have enough to worry about), and in the grand scheme of things, another $100 to applications is practically nothing. Just my two cents.

I highly recommend Interfolio as well. Do be aware though that there is a few for every document sent. Just something you might want to consider when comparing its services to those offered at your school.

Yeah, service at my institution also charges for letters sent out. So, it should be the same.

Also, the reason why I am leaning toward Interfolio is because my school service does not send letter to non professional schools/places (i.e. volunteer organizations, jobs, scholarships, etc.) but this isn't the main concern.

As long as the service is equal for sending to letters to AMCAS LoR, then I would just use the cheaper. But the question is...are they equal? So I am asking for other people who have experiences with the current AMCAS cycle with Interfolio.
