I've been working on a research project this past year with one resident physician and one attending physician. I wanted to request a letter of recommendation to speak about my dedication to the project and was wondering if the weight of the letter is at all affected by whether it's written by the resident or the attending? I worked more closely with the resident and I think it would be easier to have that letter be more personal but I'm sure the attending would be willing to write it as well. Do admissions committees have a preference?
Thank you!
Edit: Attending is an associate professor at my top school choice.
