Hello,

I am a re-aplicant. As a result, I called the schools who wait listed me I asked what I could do to improve my application. They gave me a lot of advice and suggested that I get two letters of recommendation (LOR) from two professors instead of just one. The question I forgot to ask is whether the LOR can be from a professor who does not teach a science class? Or do they want to see a LOR's primarily from science professors?

Honestly, it depends on the school. All schools have different requirements (one school I was looking at asked for 5 LORs or something along those lines). I would check the school's website to see what their LOR requirements are. Most schools to my knowledge want at least one letter from a science professor in which you received a letter grade in. If you have any doubts you should call the admissions office at the school and ask them directly.
