In preparation to submit my application in June, I have been getting the letters in order to be submitted.
One of the letters, however, is 52% identical to a sample letter found online. I discovered this out after the letterwriter emailed the letter over to me asked me if there was anything I wanted changed on it. I replied that it sounded great because it truly does. A few hours later as I was looking up application advice, I ran across a sample letter which seemed eerily similar. After plugging it into a plagarism tool, I found that it was 52% similar to the letter my letterwriter wrote. Many of the sentence are the same with just a few words changed or my name inserted.
Do I confront the letterwriter and ask them to change it or just brush it off?
