Letters for those without premedical committee........................

Hey guys,
just wondering what the rules were for the number of recommendations schools will take. For example, most say two, but will they be pissed if you send them more?

I sent five to every school. I never came across a school that only asked for two. Many had criteria that asked for 3 specific letters (2 science, 1 from your major or something like that) and then stated that you could send up to a maximum of 5 (or in some cases 6).

Of the schools I applied to, all wanted 3 letters (2 sci, 1 non-sci), except for 1 that wanted 4 total. You have to check each school's requirements.
