Are letters that were written for medical school in general acceptable for podiatry school, or do the admissions committees prefer that they be specific for podiatry? This is only for the academic/pre-health advisory letters, not any letters from a podiatrist. I received a committee letter from my school's pre-health office, but it was not specific for podiatry. I do have a separate letter from a podiatrist as well. Thanks!

I think as long as you focus your personal statement on your interest on Podiatry as a specialty field, a more generalized letter for your recommendation from your pre-health committee (or whoever is writing your recommendation) should be fine.
