Hi all,
I had a question regarding letters of recommendations. I have one 3rd year medicine letter from the 3rd year course director, one from my research advisor, and one from the chair of medicine. I am debating about what to use for the last letter. The options are either another 3rd year medicine letter from an associate professor or a 4th year letter from an assistant professor on my hospital medicine elective (I was unable to get my med sub-i until September). I have heard differing viewpoints: one side argues its better to have the title of associate vs. assistant; the other side argues that its better to have at least one fourth year letter to show increased clinical autonomy and proficiency. Both letters would be great letters. I am not sure which one to use. Any advice would be great!
Thanks.
