Letters of recommendations

I was in the honors program but unfortunately got kicked out because I couldn't maintain the required GPA. Afterwards, I was assigned a new adviser - one that was not for honors. Do you think it is wise to ask the honors adviser to write me a letter explaining the terms of being kicked out and what not or does that information even show up on my transcripts???

Here's the answer, order an official transcript and have it sent to you. Look at it and see if anything says that. If not, then don't worry.
