license exam in texas

I am graduating from school in may from boston and i am planning to take my exam in texas.
Any advice on
- how to study and what to study for the exam?
- what is the procedure that i need to follow to get licensed in texas?

All the information you need.

Be prepared for the whole process to take at least 3 months from start to finish. Texas is the slowest state I have ever heard of for issuing a license.
