am not a rheum attending nor a fellow in rheum but a PGY-3 going into pulm/CC currently in rheum rotation, work with 3 various attendings

- day starts at around 0730 and there are an average of 15 pts until maybe 1500.

- dx includes RA,RA,RA, seronegative arthritis, SLE, OA and a few dermato, celiac, hepatitis,Scl here and there.

- maybe an inpatient consult a month...mostly from FM or surgeons (no offense meant to neither).

- maybe a consult or 2 daily.

- lifestyle is great if you like office practise.

- most of patients are grumpy as these diseases are really hard to treat and keep them under control

- as for pay am told its great as u can give joint shots and the frequency varies a great deal between them and sometime to the point of craziness....

thanks a lot..

i would also appreciate if a rheumatologist or any fellow give some feedback..thanks
