Listing a position as both leadership/volunteer

I've volunteered for the past year and will continue to volunteer as a college ambassador to one of our schools on campus.
It was a fairly competitive position (requiring the typical application, recommendations, interview, etc) and I do feel that I play a leadership role in guiding future college students about my school and college in general.

I'm just wondering whether this would count as a volunteer position or as a leadership position. Is it frowned upon to list this in both categories? (I personally would prefer not to but I'm not sure if such practices are common in graduate school applications)

If you are not getting paid its volunteer, regardless of the title. Putting both is not a problem.
