If you are taking a class that possesses a specific topic, is there a way to list that on AMCAS. For example, I'm taking a class called BIOL-350 Topics in Biology. On my transcript there is a subtitle below the course title that lists the actual topic of the class "History of Medicine". Is there a place to list the more specific title when I apply. Thanks!

As you know, there is a box for your "course name". I would just say "BIOL-350 Topics in Biology". Adcoms will know you took an upper level biology class...I don't think they will necessarily care what it is called.

Hmm, I actually thought it would be listed. Thanks. Any other thoughts.

I would put "Topics in Biology - History of Medicine" under the course name and list 350 under the course number.
