As I understand it you can take two writing and one literature courses to complete the medical school writing requirement. I need to take one literature course from the English dept to complete this. Can I take this class pass/no pass or can I graduate and take it at a community college over summer after applying this june.
    thanks

Your prereqs should be graded courses. You can take them anytime before matriculating to medical school.

Some schools have a deadline well before matriculation, though. Be careful you don't cut it too tightly. A couple UC's require your prereqs to be done by June 2nd, for instance.
