little confused with the score timeline

So if i take the mcrap in sept 08, my scores will be valid for the 08-09, 09-10 and 10-11 cycles? Can they be valid till the 11-12 cycle? Cause the scores will be late anyway for the 08-09 cycle, is the application even open that late anyway?

Does this change at all if i take the test in Jan 2009 instead of sept 2008?

School dependent, but most function on the calendar year, and most have an MCAT expiry date of 3 years.

So if you took it this year it'll be good for 08-09, 09-10, and 10-11 application cycles. If you have any schools in mind you should call them and ask whether they accept september MCAT for 4 years instead of 3.
