Hey, for those fortunate enough to be accepted (and those not yet, hang in there), what do you plan to do for living? I know there was a thread a few months ago, but nobody was actually in yet. I'm debating either to find a nice single/studio to live in first year, then when I meet some friends maybe get a place with them after 1st year, or to try to find a random roommate through the school.

While the first option would be more appealing to me (didn't get along with frosh roommate in undergrad). I'm also a little nervous about living completely alone in terms of social life and whether or not people will move to a new house after first year. What are some of you guys thinking about doing? Any input from dental students who have gone through this would be helpful too.

Planning on living alone... at least for the first year or two. I know that this is the only sure way that I will be able to focus and get stuff done.

I plan on doing the same. In the 3rd and 4th year when the didactic cools down a bit and it gets fun with clinic time, I might consider living with other people. I couldnt get stuff done with old roommates in undergrad as well.

same here; i plan on renting a studio/1br

grad housing? that's what I plan to do. you can have your room, yet be around others students. I know its not the nicest, but its convenient, especially if you're going to school in an unfamiliar area.

I prefer to live with a roommate. Cut down on cost, be able to help eachother study and hangout on weekends sometimes. Anyone looking for one in Morgantown? entering class August 2010
