Living at USC?

I know I'm going to the second look day on Friday, but I was just curious where people normally lived.

My sister went to med school at USC. She lived in the dorms one year and hated it with a passion (not many med students, mostly pharm and others). She then moved to the South Pasadena area and she says many of her classmates lived nearby. Its about a 15-20 minute drive (no freeway) to the school. She also lived in Alhambra for a year.
