can someone offer some insight into the cost of living in philly, especially people that live by themselves (rent, utilities, etc). i am trying to put things into perspective. oh, one more thing, do you receive alternative loans to help with your financial situation? thanks!

depends where you live in Philly and what you will be here in Philly for.

I live by myself and I spend.....get ready for this number.

$820.00/month for my apartment and utilities.

Now, take a deep breath and relax. And I do have alternative loans to pay for school.

I am already planning to move in with someone next year. Although, this is only going to lower my monthy bills by about $150-200.
