loans for canadian residents

guys,
does anyone know whether canadian green card holders are eligible to borrow loans (i mean private loans from canada or US?)without any cosigner for studying in US dental schools?
also how much maximum annual loan can one get without a cosigner?(if one can)with a fair credit history in the US of 4 years....
any help/info is appreciated
