Hey fellows,
What loans are most of the students taking to pay off their 1st year tution? The maximum i got was 10,000 unsubsidized and 8500 subsidzed. But, that doesn't even cover the tution. I will appreciate some comments.
Thanks.
kid.

All med students should qualify for 38,500 in federal Stafford loans (combined subsidized and unsubsizided totals). This amount may be a little lower if your projected cost of living and tuition is lower.

I think that amount you got was a mistake. I would contact your financial aid office immediately to get it straigtened out. They should be able to correct this with the stroke of a key.
