Loans Specific for Medical Students?

Are there any private loans out there that are specific for medical students?

I am looking at the possibility of borrowing money past what Stafford allows.

Yes, there are alternative loans that will supplement what you are receiving from Stafford loans. Most, such as the Signature Health loan (I'm with NOWLOans and that's our alternative loan) are credit-based loans, though, so you need good credit or a co-borrower with good credit. You can also check with your financial aid office for recommendations, they are a good resource for you. Good luck!
