I have some questions about applying for loans. I know you need to fill out the FAFSA application. Is this just for Stafford loans or all Federal loans (inc. Stafford, Perkins, Health Professions Loan, etc.)?
Or are there other applications for the Perkins and Health Professions Loan?
What other loans do you have to apply for to cover the entire costs of school? I know Stafford is only $38,500, and Health Professions and Perkins are a lot less. This does not add up to the price tag at some schools when you include living expenses and stuff.

Once you've maxed out the Stafford, HPL and Perkins, you may then have to resort to *gulp* private loans and their exorbitant interest rates.

As for the FAFSA, that should take care of all your loan needs. You're finaid advisor will include any additional information/applications in your packet.
